Our Student Placement Service is open to trainees studying at BACP and/or UKCP accredited counselling and psychotherapy institutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to experience long term work with clients who wish to engage in healing therapeutic relationships. We welcome students from different therapeutic backgrounds but we expect that their approach is aligned with our mission and values.

    What you can expect from us
    • Allocation of up to 3 clients per week
    • We provide a monthly 3-hour group supervision to a group of no more than 4 supervisees for a reduced rate of £35 per month
    • All clients are assessed by a qualified counsellor
    • All clients and therapists are matched carefully – counsellor’s approach, experience and availability are taken into account
    What we will expect from you
    • Complete an application from (please enquire and request a form)
    • Have an interview
    • Be in weekly therapy and have had at least 40 hours of therapy already
    • Hold current relevant insurance
    • Hold either BACP or UKCP membership
    • Be signed off by your training supervisor to work with clients
    • Be willing to commit to a minimum of 1 year
    • Attend supervision regularly
